ECOSHARE – 14 clans signed forward contract in East and West Sepik, very low population density; over 600,000 hectares and expanding. First 10,000 CERTIFICATES at USD$150 per hectare, duration 99 years. HIGH BIODIVERSITY low- to highland forest ecosystem area– used by very few local people for gardens, hunting and gathering, alluvial gold retrieval. Forward lease contracts signed for 600,000 hectares, October 2016.
